在以往的传统美术教育中,学生的意识里对美术作品只停留在教师让画什么就画什么,教师要求怎么做我就怎么做,完全没有领会美术学习的目标,更缺乏主观的思维想象力和创作能力。如今,美术社团课在对学生的美术教学中同样也落入传统美术教学的俗套,把美术教材、教学方法、学生作业以及学生考试成绩作为整个美术教学的主要方向。所以要提高美术社团的美术教学质量,从根本意义上实现美术的教学目标,就需要在美术教学中实现以学生为教学主体,一些教学活动围绕学生来开展,把课堂的主动权交给学生,教学当中的每个环节都要让学生亲自参与体会,并表达出他们的学习感受,让学生的被动学习态度转换为主动学习态度。
