董必武同志在长期的革命战争和社会主义建设中,极其重视对党建工作的研究,强调党员干部在新中国和社会主义建设中的重要作用。他最先在党内提出了依法治国的理念,指出依法办事是党员干部的行动准则,是加强人民民主法制的中心环节,董老关于党的建设思想在新时期党建工作中仍具有重要的现实指导意义。
