本论文认为,英语习语体现英语民族丰富的文化内涵和独有的思维习惯,在交际活动中习语具有特殊的语用意义和言语行为特征。运用言语行为理论来观察或研究习语中的句式习语及意义,能使我们在一定程度上更好地理解或把握英语习语独特的语用意义和施为性言语行为特征。
This dissertation holds that English idioms embodies the rich cultural connotation and unique thinking habit of English nationality, and idioms have special pragmatic meaning and verbal behavior in communication activities. Using the theory of speech acts to observe or study sentence idioms and meanings in idioms enables us to understand or grasp the unique pragmatic meaning and sexual speech act features of English idioms to a certain extent.
