有机锗是指分子中含有Gr-C键的锗化合物,到目前为止已经合成的有机锗约有数千种。但这里所讲的有机锗专指羧乙基锗倍半氧化物,它是由日本学者浅井一彦于20世纪60年代首先合成的,70年代日本另一位学者石川明用大同小异的方法合成了另一种聚合状态稍有不同的化合物。浅井一彦合成的有机锗叫Repagermanium,化学式为:[(GeCH_2CH_2COOH)_2O_3]_n,代号为Ge-132。石川明合成的化合物叫Propagermanium,化学式为[(O_(1/2))_3GeCH_2CH_2COOH]_n,代号为SK818。实际上,Ge-132和SK818都是羧乙基锗倍半氧化物的聚合物,它们的分子式
