Pharmacologists are working on a creative job. They intend to combine the drug with the magnetic powder and send it to the human body. Through a magnetic field, the drug can be concentrated in the body where they are needed. Kenneth Wade, George Foret, and Andrew Mori Leaf of the Northern West University School of Medicine in the United States have combined peptone particles containing anti-cancer drug doxorubicin with iron trioxide magnetic powder. They use heat treatment or reaction with formaldehyde to stabilize the drug particles so that the drug release rate is maintained at an appropriate level. They first experimented with a mouse. Through a powerful magnetic field, half of the dose of the drug supplied to rats was concentrated on mice.
