本文用高速摄影方法对内燃机的起动性能、燃烧室内气体涡流运动、喷油过程、燃烧过程研究等方面进行了探讨。通过对上海汽车电机厂ST614型起动机的试验,摄录了吸铁开关的工作过程和电机传动齿轮的啮合过程。从中找到了引起电机绕组过热和触点烧损的原因在于触点之间发生强大火花,也弄清了起动时在不利于啮轮啮合的状况下主动轮是以怎样的方式进行瞬间调整的,而这恰恰是生产厂多年来所无法确知的。
