The experimental work was performed on a HI-13 tandem accelerator in September 2004. The highly spin states of 178Os nuclei were laid out by 29Si + 154Sm evaporation by heavy ion fusion. The 154Sm target thickness was 1.4 mg / cm2 for the experiment and the substrate thickness was 20 mg / cm2 for the lead liner. The beam energy is 155 MeV.
