在我国的云、贵、川等不少地区,分布着数量众多的悬棺。它们高悬于绝壁峭岩之上,在千年风雨中向人们展示着这种奇特的葬俗,也使后人对它产生了兴趣。古人为何要把棺材悬于绝壁之上?他们是怎样将这重达数百斤,甚至上千斤的棺木安放到悬崖峭壁上去的呢? 中央电视台青少中心《异想天开》栏目选择了这一难题,并且做了一次真正的异想天开——重现古人放置悬棺的方法和过程,解开千古之谜。这是国内外首次用实际行动向悬棺之谜发起的挑战。
