According to Singapore’s “Lianhe Zaobao” reported that in 2000 the poor state of the private housing market in Singapore, making the real estate auction deserted. According to statistics, only 150 real estate projects were auctioned in Singapore in 2000, a marked decrease from 322 projects in 1999. The transaction value also dropped from S $ 409 million in 1999 to S $ 227 million (US $ 1.7 or 1.7%)
