利用传输矩阵法推导了Gires-Tournois(G-T)标准具的群时延和色散特性,分析了将G-T标准具用于多通道色散补偿的原理,并使用级联G-T标准具来提升色散补偿能力。介绍了一种基于温度控制的级联G-T标准具色散补偿装置;通过控制各级标准具的温度来调整标准具内折射率参数,以实现目标色散的拟合。利用Matlab软件进行仿真验证,模拟结果表明:该装置可以同时补偿C波段和L波段的全通道色散,并且色散补偿精度高,群时延抖动小,符合高速率光通信系统色散补偿的要求。
The group delay and dispersion characteristics of Gires-Tournois (G-T) etalon were deduced by transfer matrix method. The principle of using G-T etalon for multi-channel dispersion compensation was analyzed. The cascaded G-T etalon was used to enhance the dispersion compensation capability. A cascade G-T etalon dispersion compensation device based on temperature control is introduced. The refractive index of the etalon is adjusted by controlling the temperature of etalons at all levels to achieve the target dispersion fitting. The simulation results show that this device can compensate the full channel dispersion of C-band and L-band at the same time, and the dispersion compensation accuracy is high and the group delay jitter is small, which meets the requirement of dispersion compensation of high-rate optical communication system.
