近年来在经济全球化的时代背景下,来自陕北地区的农产品因其绿色、环保、营养丰富等特点在国内外市场的知名度与日俱增。然而,其农产品精美包装袋上所印的英文产品说明书中却存在大量的翻译错误,严重阻碍了陕北地区特色农产品对外推广的步伐。本文在耶夫·维索尔伦的语用动态顺应理论的指导下,旨在指出陕北地区特色农产品说明书的英译失误,并尝试提出改进方案。这样既可以提高海外消费者对陕北地区特色农产品的认知,也可以提高农产品的对外销售量,进而促进地方经济的繁荣发展。
In recent years, under the background of economic globalization, the agricultural products from northern Shaanxi are gaining popularity in domestic and overseas markets due to their characteristics of green, environmental protection and rich nutrition. However, there are a lot of translation errors in the English product manual printed on the exquisite packaging bags of agricultural products, which seriously hindered the promotion of special agricultural products in northern Shaanxi. Under the guidance of the theory of pragmatic dynamic adaptation by Yev Vschullen, this paper aims to point out the mistakes in the English translation of the manual of agricultural products with characteristics in northern Shaanxi and try to put forward the improvement plan. This will not only enhance the overseas consumers’ cognition of the special agricultural products in northern Shaanxi, but also increase the foreign sales of agricultural products and further promote the prosperity and development of the local economy.
