Russia demonstrated for the first time last week its new anti-tank missiles manufactured using dual-mode guidance. At that time, KBM Engineering and Design Bureau exhibited a new type of long-range anti-tank missiles for attacking main battle tanks and infantry fighting vehicles. The missile was named Khrizantema (9M123). Missiles have two types of guidance. One is automatically guided by the head mounted radar; the other is the use of sights mounted on the right front of the housing to achieve semi-automatic laser beam guidance. According to the manufacturer, the above guidance system has a strong launch flexibility, that is, whether it is day or night or bad weather can launch. The missile was mounted on the frame of a BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle that had been in service with the Russian army for many years and was exported to other countries
