The purpose of directional detection is discussed using the asymmetry of the equatorial plane pattern of the fuze antenna and the direction information of the projectile rotating to detect the target. By peak detection, the fuze can identify the direction of the target. The overall block diagram of fuze orientation detection and recognition is given.
