Skull height plays an important role in the process of human evolution. To explore the correlation between the skull height of modern humans, five skull height measurements (mm) were performed on the skull unearthed in the northeast of China (88, 86). The main results are as follows: ① The height of the brain (ba-b), male 134.7 ± 0.60, female 132.0 ± 0.58; ② the total brain height (ba-v), male 136.0 ± 0.58, Female 133.1 ± 0.58; ③ ear skull height, male 115.0 ± 0.45, female 113.1 ± 0.48; ④ front chimney door height, male 114.4 ± 0.58, female 113 .1 ± 0.61; ⑤ Cranial high I, male 105.4 ± 0.64, female 102.9 ± 0.60. There were significant gender differences except for the front chord (P <0.01). Since skull height was highly positively correlated with other heights (r = 0.34-0.84), other heights were easily extrapolated from the skull height, which is of significance for Mollison craniotomy measurements of cranial heights .
