In recent years, the deadly threat of pancreatic cancer has attracted increasing attention in many developed countries. According to statistics, approximately 20,000 people in the United States die from pancreatic cancer each year, second only to lung cancer, colorectal cancer, and breast cancer, ranking fourth in cancer deaths. In Japan, 8,000 people die from pancreatic cancer each year, and it also ranks fourth in cancer deaths, second only to stomach cancer, lung cancer, and liver cancer. As we all know, patients with pancreatic cancer have a poor prognosis. The treatment of pancreatic cancer, like other cancers, is based on the principle of early diagnosis and thorough removal. However, due to its special biological invasiveness, the effect of surgery is not ideal. 1978 Gudjonsson collects 61 articles for diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cancer
