硅电脑的终结者:量子和DNA 日前IBM利用5个原子作为处理器和存储器开发出量子电脑实验机,清华大学也完成了利用2个原子进行量子计算的实验。量子电脑由于速度快和存储量大,运算能力可比传统电脑快几亿倍!而1克生物电脑的DNA所能存储的信息量可与1万亿张CD光盘相当,“知识水平”远远超过人类。专家预计利用分子键存储数据的“生物芯片”将在2007年投放市场;光子计算机将在2014年进入商业市场;而2020年可能就是硅电脑时代的结束。
Terminator of Silicon Computer: Quantum and DNA Recently, IBM used five atoms as a processor and memory to develop a quantum computer experimental machine. Tsinghua University also completed experiments using two atoms for quantum computing. Quantum computers are hundreds of millions of times faster than traditional computers due to their fast speed and storage capacity, while the amount of information that can be stored in one gram of bio-computer’s DNA can be equivalent to 1 trillion CDs, and the “knowledge level” is far more than Humanity. Experts expect that the “biochip” that uses molecular keys to store data will be put on the market in 2007; photonic computers will enter the commercial market in 2014; and 2020 may be the end of the silicon computer era.
