情感是启发、发展和维持认知活动的动力,是构成心理素质的重要成分。语文是一门集思想性、文学性、艺术性、形象性和情感性于一体的学科。语文学科是培养语言能力的学科,也是培养情感的学科。在语文教学中教师若能讲究情感教学的艺术性,充分利用教师自身和课文中蕴涵的情感去打动学生,感染学生,那么学生就不仅能够很容易地理解和接受语文知识,而且还能够让每一颗求知的心灵获得丰富的情感体验,从而达到使学生增长知识、发展个性、健全人格的目的,实现语文教学的最终目标。
