高职教育是以社会需求为导向的就业教育,高职院校培养出来的学生应该是市场上需要的、适应社会和企业需求的、与就业岗位“零距离”的学生,他们是生产、建设、管理、服务第一线需要的具有较强实践动手能力的高级技术应用型人才,因而高职教育办学要围绕学生的“职业”和“技术”展开。要想培养学生的专业技能,需要实践能力强的高素质教师队伍。而目前高职院校的教师的实践能力现状不容乐观,如何提升高职院校教师的社会实践能力,成为摆在广大高职院校教师、高校与教育行政管理部门面前的时代课题。
