成都市望江楼公园内古建筑以崇丽阁(俗称望江楼)为主,依次建有濯锦楼、吟诗楼、浣笺亭、五云仙馆、清婉室、泉香榭等楼阁馆亭,是一组布局开合有致、风格典雅的古建筑群。这组古建筑群中的崇丽阁、吟诗楼、濯锦楼都依江而建,并能登临其上观望江景,所以总称望江楼古建筑群。崇丽阁得名于(晋代)左思《蜀都赋》中的“既丽且崇,实号成都”。楼阁为全木穿榫结构建筑,设计精巧,造型宏丽。
