2009年12月25日,第十一届全国美术作品展在中国美术馆拉开帷幕。153件获奖作品及其他优秀作品获得了在北京展出的机会层层选拔精品呈现虽然屋外刮着凛冽的寒风,但是中国美术馆的展厅里却是春意盎然。自从2009年12月25日第十一届全国美术作品展开展以来,中国美术馆每天门庭若市,参观的人群摩肩接踵,其中还有不少“回头客”。其实,这已经是此次美展的第二阶段了。本次展览首次由文化部、中国文联、中国美协共同主办,分为两个阶段举行。第一阶段是各专业类别的分区展览,自2009年8月至10月陆续在北京、上海、武汉、南京等十个展区分别展出。各展区共计展出作品约3700件。第二阶段是获奖作品展,
December 25, 2009, the Eleventh National Art Exhibition opened in the China Art Museum. The 153 award-winning works and other outstanding works won the opportunity to be exhibited in Beijing.
