严肃党纪国法,坚决查办违纪违法案件,是反腐倡廉建设的重要任务,也是惩治腐败的重要手段。《建立健全惩治和预防腐败体系2008—2012年工作规划》对查办案件工作进行了部署,提出了明确要求,各级纪检监察机关要坚持改革创新精神,突出工作重点,狠抓案件查处,坚决惩处腐败分子,努力以查办案件的实际成果推动反腐倡廉各项任务的全面落实。
