前言几个新近的USAECOM研究计划引伸出了高电压、大电流闸流管的设计概念,我们利用了这些概念设计一种累积栅闸流管,它能够在脉冲峰值电压为70千伏时同时开关峰值功率为350兆瓦、平均功率为1兆瓦。这种闸流管的功率将比其它用于雷达上的开关大许多倍。表1列出了这种开关和调制器的几个参数和三种主要工作状态。
Introduction Several recent USAECOM research projects have led to the design concept for high voltage, high current thyristors. We used these concepts to design a cumulative gate thyristor that can simultaneously switch at a peak pulse voltage of 70 kV The peak power is 350 MW and the average power is 1 MW. This thyratron will have many times more power than other switches used on the radar. Table 1 lists several of the switches and modulators and three main operating states.
