盒式录音机所用的电动机,目前除特殊高质量者外,一般均采用永磁式直流有刷电动机。它具有体积小、效率高、转速控制简单、启动快以及适于电池与多种电源供电,易作成便携式等优点。盒式录音机对电动机的质量要求最主要的是:负载转矩、电源电压以及环境温度在一定范围内变化时,电动机的转速能保持稳定,且瞬时转速均匀(抖晃小)。录音机的起码要求,大致是带速(即转速)误差不大于±2%,失调率(抖晃率)不大于0.5%(一般≤0.3%),否则人耳将明显感觉到声音失真。一级录音机则要求转速误差≤±0.2%,抖晃率≤0.15%。所以稳速是这类电动机生产中的基本问题,也是技术关键之一。
