《北京青年报》与新华社解放军分社联合推出的“我的长征——寻访健在老红军”系列报道,从2004年8月1日开始,历时76天,每天用一个整版的篇幅,刊发了76位老红军的长征故事和人生经历。这是用新闻介入历史的全新尝试,不仅是新闻人尊重历史、挽救历史的一次大型策划和尝试,而且对于提升史料价值、发挥新闻育人功能的作用有着重大的意义,而新闻媒体联袂合作形成强势舆论,显示了新闻媒体的社会影响力和新闻记者社会责任的重大。
The Beijing Youth Daily and the People’s Liberation Army Branch of Xinhua News Agency jointly launched a series of articles entitled “My Long March - Searching for the Aged Red Army.” Starting from August 1, 2004, it lasted 76 days and used an entire page every day. Published 76 Long March Red Army story and life experience. This is a brand new attempt to involve history in the news. It is not only a major plan and attempt by journalists to respect history but also save history. It is of great significance to enhancing the value of historical materials and giving full play to the function of news education. The news media work together to form Strong public opinion shows the social influence of news media and the great social responsibility of journalists.
