Through rigorous experimentation, psychologists have found that the same information, delivered by Galveston communicators (such as experts and professors) from an instantaneous perspective, is indeed much more evocative than those offered by low prestige communicators However, a re-examination three weeks later showed that the effect of the change of attitudes caused by the various sources of information had tended to coincide. In other words, the prestige of the original source of information has tended to disappear. The change of attitude caused by the general information source, on the contrary, over time
