Primary liver cancer (abbreviated as liver cancer) is one of the three most common tumors in China (ie esophagus, stomach, and liver cancer). Liver cancer in China is mainly distributed in some provinces and cities in the southeast coastal areas. The mortality rate of liver cancer in Shanghai ranks first in all provinces and cities in China, while the mortality rate of liver cancer in Shanghai’s suburbs is higher than that in urban areas, while in suburban counties, it is higher in some areas of Chongming, Nanhui, and Baoshan. These geographical distributions are heterogeneous. It is difficult to explain with climatic factors, the age of the land, the distribution of food crops, and ethnicity. In the 1980s, we focused on the distribution of water, hepatitis, and aflatoxin and liver cancer.
