On July 12, 1993, chaired by the Jiangsu Provincial Education Commission, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the pre-BY anti-concrete engineering base-aggregate reaction intelligence system PAARIS, undertook the technical appraisal. Delegates took in the research reports, technical reports, usage reports of user representatives, and assessment reports of the assessment team headed by Associate Professor Cai Ruiying. And watched a live demonstration. After a serious discussion, the appraisal committee believed that the system was well-designed, advanced in technology, innovative in thought, and clever in conception.
