本文首先引用北约军事专家评价战斗机作战能力的公式,说明航空机载设备是保证飞机发挥效能和提高战斗力最重要的手段。接着用实例说明飞机对机载设备依赖性越来越大。文中还用近年的战争实例说明航空电子设备对提高飞机生存概率,机载武器系统对提高攻击命中率的显著效果。机载设备还可大大提高飞机作战的出航率。此外,对比较落后的飞机可用添装先进的机载设备来改善整个飞机的综合性能,并大大延长飞机的服役年限。文章最后指出,机栽设备日趋复杂,元器件数量迅速增加,使用环境日益严酷,国外对机栽设备尤其是航空电子设备的发展极为重视。先进工业国家在新机研制中,航空电子设备所占投资比重已达50%左右。
