新中国画院的成立是中国美术史上的大事,它拯救了当时濒临边缘化的国画艺术,并在继承与发展传统国画方面发挥了重要作用。本文主要从史实出发,通过对建国初期国画危机、国画改造、新中国画运动等史料的深入分析,阐明新中国画院成立的历史使命与现实意义,进而为当今中国画院的改革与发展提供可资借鉴的经验与教训。
The establishment of the new Chinese painting academy was a major event in the history of Chinese art. It saved the marginalized Chinese painting art then and played an important role in inheriting and developing traditional Chinese painting. Based on historical facts, this essay analyzes the historic mission and practical significance of the founding of the New Chinese Painting Academy through the analysis of the historical materials such as the crisis of Chinese painting, the transformation of traditional Chinese painting and the new Chinese painting in the early days of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, and provides reference for the reform and development of today’s Chinese painting academy.
