伴随着盛开的杜鹃和木棉,2001年香港花卉展览在维多利亚公园如期而至。笔者应邀参加了3月9日的开幕式,有机会在参观人潮汹涌而来之前仔细观看姹紫嫣红的展品。回想起从1976年至今参观的多次展览,深感这次展览和过去相比,差别巨大,进步显著。概括起来,有不少特色:
