非保偏光纤环形激光器输出激光偏振状态分析

利用琼斯矩阵理论 ,建立了非保偏光纤光栅环形激光器偏振特性的简化分析模型。通过实验验证 ,利用此模型的分析结果与实验结果是一致的。分析表明 ,采用非保偏光纤制成的激光器 ,能够得到较稳的功率输出 ,但偏振态紊乱 ;而简单地加入起偏器会使激光器的输出功率稳定性发生恶化 ,而且偏振特性也得不到改善。而要利用非保偏光纤实现单偏振输出 ,必须对激光器采取特殊的偏振控制措施 Using the Jones matrix theory, a simplified analytical model of the polarization characteristics of non-polarization-maintaining fiber Grating ring lasers is established. Through experimental verification, the results of the analysis using this model are consistent with the experimental results. The analysis shows that the laser made of non-polarization maintaining fiber can obtain a stable power output, but the polarization state is disordered.
