在光度测定痕量铁的方法中,无论是经典的硫氰酸盐、邻菲罗啉类试剂,还是近年提出的一些试剂,似无一个令人完全满意的。我们在研究偶氮类试剂在元素分光光度测定中的应用时,发现2-(5-溴-2-吡啶偶氮)-5-二甲氨基酚(5-Br-DMPAP)与铁(Ⅲ)有灵敏的显色反应,其最大吸收在600nm处,ε值达7.6×10~4,显然,其灵敏度约是水分析中常用的4.7-二羟基-1,10-菲罗啉,吡啶基二苯基三嗪磺酸钠等的3倍,另外,因系铁(Ⅲ)显色,就省去了还原手续,这还可用于一些特殊的研究中。
