本刀具主要用于一般普通车床,加工铸铁、铜、尼龙等内,外球面,如压力机连杆座、手把圆球等。其特点:一、铰链式杯形圆球车刀(图1):1.高速钢杯形圆球车刀使用时,只要先用尖刀车出斜面,就可直接车成圆球,操作简便。2.采用双铰链,刀具可自动对准(?)转中心,保证工件的圆度。刀具制造精度高,工件椭圆度可控制在0.02毫米以内。3.一把刀可加工一定尺寸范围的不同圆球。球的任意截面都是圆,因此,随着进刀,球的尺寸将减小。可以解决φ20～50手柄球头的加工。
