“意”，即意境，是中国古代绘画理论中的一个重要概念，而在对当代传统写实雕塑的探索中，“意”有了一种新的诠释。本文首先从古代画论中关于人品、心境对绘画的影响，论述了在当代的艺术环境中心境与传达雕塑的“意”的密切关系和重要作用，并选取引用中国古代画论的重要思想和一些具有代表性雕塑家和他们的作品作为例证进行分析，说明心性在艺术家创作之前所具有的重要意义。
“Meaning”, that is mood, is an important concept in ancient Chinese painting theory. In the exploration of the contemporary traditional realistic sculpture, “meaning” has a new interpretation. From the perspective of ancient paintings, this paper discusses the influence of the character and the mood on the painting, discusses the close relationship and important role of the mood and the meaning of the sculpture in the contemporary artistic environment, and selects the important idea of quoting the ancient Chinese painting theory And some representative sculptors and their works as an example to illustrate the significance of the mind before the artist’s creation.
