The ultimate goal of people to learn the language is to use the language of communication, which includes oral communication skills and written communication skills. The teaching of language is of great significance for learners to learn and master a language. This article mainly discusses the influence of communicative competence theory on English teaching and how to promote learners’ communicative competence in teaching.
