在今年春末夏初的梅雨季节,太湖流域普降大雨,雨量几近历史最高水平。由于建设中的治太工程发挥了显著作用,除局部地区短时间进水被淹外,未形成流域性的洪涝灾害,全流域减少工农业经济损失达47亿元。 自1991年国家批准正式实施太湖流域综合治理规划方案(简称为治太工程)以来,治太工程边建设边发挥效益,已发挥减灾效益104亿元,相当于目前完成的投资工作量28亿元的3.5倍多。
In the rainy season of late spring and early summer of this year, the Taihu Lake Basin is plunged by heavy rainfall with its rainfall reaching its highest level ever. Due to the significant role played by the construction of the Taiji project, floods in some areas have not yet been flooded for a short period of time, and economic losses in agriculture and industry have been reduced by 4.7 billion yuan in the whole basin. Since the State approved the formal implementation of the comprehensive plan for the management of the Taihu Lake Basin in 1991 (referred to as the Tai Chi Project), the Tai Chi project has played a beneficial role while building the project and has already achieved the benefit of disaster reduction of 10.4 billion yuan, equivalent to the current investment of 2.8 billion yuan 3.5 times more.
