河北省涞源县人武部瞄准强军目标,全力打造一支关键时刻拉得出、用得上、起作用的民兵应急力量,他们突出民兵编组、军事和专业训练、装备保障3个重要环节,从退伍军人和地方专业技术骨干中选拔民兵队员,依托地方技术力量,组织完成森林防火、抗洪抢险、抗震救灾等专业科目训练,极大地提高了民兵应急连的战斗力。近年来,这个人武部先后组织民兵应急连高标准完成抗洪抢险、山火扑救、灾后重建等急难险重任务,赢得当地政府和人民群众的广泛赞誉,群众誉为“应急尖兵”。
The Hebei Armed Forces Department of Laiyuan County aims at the goal of strengthening the armed forces and devotes all efforts to building an emergency militia force that can be used at a crucial time. They have highlighted three major links in the formation of militia majors, military and professional training, and equipment support. Selecting militia members from veterans and local professional and technical cadres and relying on local technical forces to organize training in such specialized subjects as forest fire prevention, flood fighting and rescue and earthquake relief greatly enhanced the combat effectiveness of the Militia contingency. In recent years, the Ministry of Personnel of the People’s Armed Forces has successively organized militia contingencies to meet the high standards of flood control, hill fire fighting and post-disaster reconstruction, and has won wide acclaim from the local government and people. The masses have been praised as “pioneering pioneers.”
