Objective To investigate the feasibility of homosexuality by examining popular attitudes toward homosexuality. Methods A revised National Homosexuality Attitudes Questionnaire was used to investigate 500 medical staff and compare the results of the survey with those of the national opinion polls conducted before the abolition of homosexuality in the United States in the 1970s. As a result, 57.2% of the medical workers thought that homosexuality was morbid, 77.2% thought that homosexuality deserved compassion and understanding, 62% thought that in future society should accept homosexuality, and only 19.4% had homosexuality. Conclusions The data show that the general public in our country is more forgiving than the same-sex attitude towards homosexuality in that country and that canceling homosexuality diagnosis is a crucial step toward solving the homosexuality problem.
