在读小学的时候,知道了北京周口店的“山顶洞人”,知道了山顶洞人生活在距今一万八千年前的旧石器晚期,知道了山顶洞人是华夏子孙的祖先。在一万八千年前,山顶洞人就开始结束了赤身裸体的生活,懂得取火,懂得用骨针缝制衣服,而且,还懂得了染色技术。一万八千年,遥远得不可想象。
When I was in primary school, I knew the “caveman” in Zhoukoudian, Beijing. I learned that the cave cave people lived in the late Paleolithic age 18,000 years ago and I knew that the cave people were the ancestors of the Chinese descendants. At 18,000 years ago, the cavemen began to put an end to the nakedness, know how to take fire, know how to dress with bone needles, and understand the dyeing technique. Eighteen thousand years, far too unimaginable.
