在’98欧洲安全防护技术博览会上,由德国BSST防护背心生产厂推出的目前质量最轻、防护级为一级的防护背心,引起与会者极大兴趣。这种防护背心可将目前同类产品的质量减小20%。这一成果是在HPPE纤维基础上进行改进后取得的。HPPE纤维是一种优质聚乙烯人造纤维,即90年代初出现的被称为凯夫拉的Aramid纤维。这种纤维的特性是,耐酸碱性强、耐高温性好,并具有防水性能。由于质量减小,着装这种背心的舒适性得到了明显改善,普通防护背心质量约2kg,而Dyneema FLex NT纤维的防护背心质量则仅为1.5kg。新式背心柔软性更为突出,其灵活性可与Aramid背心相媲美。
The current lightest, class-A protective vest, introduced by the German BSST vest manufacturing plant, attracted great interest at the '98 European Technology and Safety Fair. This protective vest can reduce the quality of similar products by 20%. This result is based on HPPE fiber obtained after the improvement. HPPE fiber is a premium polyethylene artificial fiber called Aramid fiber called Kevlar that appeared in the early 90s. This fiber is characterized by strong acid and alkali resistance, high temperature resistance and waterproof. Due to the reduced mass, the comfort of the vest was significantly improved, with a normal protective vest weighing about 2 kg and the Dyneema FLex NT fiber vest weighing only 1.5 kg. New vest softness is more prominent, its flexibility comparable with the Aramid vest.
