本文阐述一种可用于变压器、耦合器和其它多结构应用的传输线电路中宽带匹配网络的新原理。在这种新型设计中,相邻的阻抗阶或耦合孔之间的距离要比四分之一波长短得多。当耦合函数或总阻抗变换比给定时,这种设计原理可使阶或孔的数量大大增加,而单阶反射减小。因而性能大大提高。文中举了采用新网络原理的一种波导定向耦合器的例子来加以说明。这种方法也可用来研制频带很宽(10:1)的元件。
This article describes a new principle for broadband matching networks in transmission line circuits that can be used in transformers, couplers and other multi-fabric applications. In this new design, the distance between adjacent impedance steps or coupling holes is much shorter than a quarter wavelength. When the coupling function or total impedance transformation ratio is given, this design principle can greatly increase the number of steps or holes, and reduce the single-order reflection. So performance is greatly improved. This paper gives an example of a waveguide directional coupler using the new network principle. This method can also be used to develop a wide band (10: 1) element.
