近年来世界扫盲教育取得了巨大的进展,发展中国家和发达国家的文盲人数和比率都在下降。但是由于长期以来的性别歧视和各种社会因素的影响,女性文盲的总数和所占人口比率还远高于男性。女性扫盲教育成为了实现教育机会均等,提高女性知识水平和社会地位的重要手段之一,是成人教育的重要组成部分。本文介绍了世界范围特别是发展中国家女性扫盲教育的现状,并简要分析了影响女性扫盲教育的因素。
In recent years, tremendous progress has been made in literacy education in the world, with both the number and rate of illiteracy in developing and developed countries declining. However, owing to the long history of gender discrimination and various social factors, the total number of female illiterates and their share of the population is far higher than that of men. Female literacy education has become one of the most important means to realize the equality of educational opportunities and improve the knowledge level and social status of women, and is an important part of adult education. This paper presents the current status of female literacy education in the world, especially in developing countries, and briefly analyzes the factors affecting female literacy education.
