初中数学教学过程中,经常遇到在学习上缺乏独立主动性、自信心,学习没有明确目标,死记硬背不求甚解,或干脆放弃不学,自暴自弃的学生,这样的学生被称为学困生。这不仅制约了学生自身的发展,也影响了整体教育的提高。在新课标的要求下,高效课堂是发展的必然趋势,而学困生是客观存在的,所以,学困生的转化,是完成高效课堂任务的前提。因此,加强学困生的转化是每一个老师必须重视的工作。在学困生的转化过程中,应采用教育心理学中“期待效应”和“赏识教育”的原理和方法,不失时机地帮助学生建立自信,创造机会让学生展示自己的长处、闪光点和主动参与课堂活动中,引导学生走上自立、自强、主动的健康成长之路。
