张秀亚作为台湾妇女写作的燃灯人,在抗战时期沦陷的京津地区,不仅坚持编辑纯文学期刊,也在自己的诗作中融合深沉的感时忧国精神和中国传统的女性意识。她在诗歌的美学营造方面,以象征女性气质的秀美与温婉为主,而她在爱伦.坡的《钟声》影响下用长诗讲述中国古代民间故事,不仅为新诗诗形建构作出了可贵的探索,也引领了北京沦陷区的长诗创作潮流。
As a lantern writer for Taiwanese women, Zhang Xiuya not only insisted on editing pure periodicals in the Beijing-Tianjin areas that were occupied during the War of Resistance Against Japan, but also integrated deep sense of patriotism and traditional Chinese femininity in her own poems.
