随着中国设计和经济的发展,一方面,国外的明星设计师纷纷前往中国开展项目;另一方面,本土设计行业中也出现明星化的倾向。在西方,设计明星制度已较为成熟,有一套支持培养、营销宣传的模式,设计明星也为行业和社会所知。相比较而言,目前在中国,设计明星和明星制的表现形式是怎样?它在行业内部产生怎样的影响,它的社会价值是什么?设计明星和明星制的积极意义在哪里,同时,它是否存有潜在的问题和弊端?1月9日下午,《装饰》杂志社在北京798白盒子艺术馆举行了一次小型专家研讨会,邀请设计师、媒体人、策展人和学者从学术及行业的角度探讨中国设计界的明星现象。
With the development of China’s design and economy, on the one hand, foreign celebrity designers have been going to China to carry out projects; the other hand, the local design industry has also emerged in the tendency of celebrity. In the West, the design star system is more mature, with a set of models that support training and marketing, and design stars are also known to the industry and society. In comparison, what is the current form of design star and star system in China? What impact does it have inside the industry and what is its social value? Where is the positive meaning of designing star and star system? Are there any potential problems and shortcomings? On the afternoon of January 9, Decoration magazine held a small expert seminar at 798 White Box Museum of Art in Beijing, inviting designers, media people, curators and scholars to learn more from academic and Industry perspective on the star phenomenon in China’s design industry.
