The Chinese government at all levels are very much concerned about the improvement of the people’s spiritual life and individual qualities. For a long time, they have always attached great importance to lifelong education and vigorously promoted the construction of a learning community. This paper hopes to find out the differences and correlation between the two in theory and in practice through the analysis of the essence and connotation of “lifelong education” and “learning community”, to clarify the long-term goal of establishing lifelong education system and building learning community?
