《诗经》里只有韭而无葱。《豳风·七月》:四之日其蚤,献羔祭韭。韭菜和羔羊是古人于仲春行开冰之仪的祭品,用来恭送司寒神祇,一束春韭在古人眼里可不简单。韭菜是寻常菜蔬,春韭更是人间美味。所以诗人杜甫写:夜雨剪春韭,新炊间黄粱,那是廿年不见的挚友卫八的款待,举觞夜话,不免沧桑,诗人咀嚼新鲜韭菜,一肚子暖心情谊。从某种意义上说,杜甫还真是是一个懂得农艺且懂食的诗
