Chagusaba is a traditional tea-grass compound system in Shizuoka, Japan. It is an important habitat for natural plant species. In 2013, it was listed as a Global Important Agricultural Heritage (GIAHS). This paper studies the flora and biodiversity of this system and analyzes the environmental factors that affect the number of natural species. The results showed that 50 tea-grass composite systems could be divided into 5 types of vegetation by the two-way indicator analysis method. Tea-grass compound system with many kinds of natural plants had low p H value and wide area, The change of land use has no significant effect on natural plant diversity. According to GLM analysis, the change of land use has a significant impact on natural plant diversity. Correspondingly, the historical change of land use is also an important reflection of natural plant diversity.
