In the process of physics new curriculum reform, many teachers are faced with a very important problem is that the original familiar textbooks have been replaced with new ones. It is difficult to grasp the characteristics of new textbooks and teaching standards for a time. Analyze the textbooks for the new textbooks. It is particularly important for teachers who are involved in the physics teaching of new courses. This article analyzes the first chapter of the eighth grade physics textbook jointly published by Guangdong Education Press and Shanghai Science and Technology Press for reference by physics teachers in the middle schools. This chapter follows the sequence of sound production and dissemination, sound characteristics and its applications. A total of three sections have been arranged. This not only presents the basic knowledge of sound, but also adds a wealth of experimental activities to these students.
