前言玉米杂种的优势利用,已成为当前提高玉米品种生产水平的有力手段之一。顶交种(品种自交系间杂交种)是可利用的杂种形式之一。农业部在“关于进行玉米杂交育种工作的意见”中指出:在配制选育双交种的同时,还可利用推广丰产的顶交种。国内外不少生产实践证明,顶交种具有一定的杂种优势,在玉米品种中占有一定地位,并有不少优良顶交种已为生产上所利用。
